Architectural Frivolity
The Paris Opera makes me think of a fancy chocolate box... totally unnessary but always pleasing that certain people thought about creating it and leaving it as a fancy gift to future generations.

Did you had a "pastis" arround the corner in the famous "Café de la Paix.
Was once the hub of society in Paris.

Nu zijn we zó dikwijls in Parijs geweest, en ook om en rond de Opera, dichtbij was het Grand Hotel waar we in het begin verbleven, voor we naar het Little Palace Hotel aan de Boulevard Sebastopol verhuisden, en toch heb ik de Opera nooit zo mooi gezien als hier op deze foto weergegeven. Inderdaad een reuze 'bonbonniere'.
