Chris De Dier: Austin, TX, United States; My work is a reflection of my passion for the natural world. In my landscape paintings where the sky plays the major role, the colors and shapes of the clouds joined with the value of the light are directed by the moods and emotions of the moment. I am striving for a pleasing and timeless esthetic that hopefully will cause the viewer to reflect on the sacredness of nature and our responsibility to the environment.
